"Fifty Shades of INK" exhibition revolves around the concept of "consumption" and "displacement" which the artist concerns, through different mediums (paintings on paper, silk and canvas, plus installations) comprising the depiction and implication of metropolitan symbols, human behaviour and the Mother Nature, presenting a complex with individuals' perspectives on the cityscape, while addressing the diminishing nature of Chinese culture and declining bee numbers due to resource exploitation, social roles displacement and mental health imbalance, which in turn tracks down the pursuit of ultimate needs in life, rooted from the artist's previous series "Where's The Mountain?".
